We are pround to announce the next Sustainable Sweden Eco-municipality Tour in 2008. Starting in Stockholm we will travel all around Sweden, from the north to the very south of the country . We will meet, learn, explore and contribute to many of the pioneers of local sustainable development in Sweden. You will get a unique chance to learn from the very best “ firesouls” in the world - how did and are they making a sustainable society possible? This time participants can combine a tour with the exciting International Eco-municipality Conference, in Helsingborg. Here you will get a wonderful opportunity to listen to and meet some of the world leading "fire-souls", such as Mr Manfred Max Neef, Karl Henrik Robert and Sweden´s Enironmental Minister Andreas Carlgren.

We have to take responsibility and be a leader for reducing fossil CO2, says Mikael Andersson, president of Taxi Stockholm. Earlier the board of Taxi Stockholm decided to reduce the fossil CO2 emissions from their cars with 40% by 2012. The decision to only use green cars will speed up the process. Every taxi car is being exchanged every third year. From next year, every car that is exchanged will be exchanged to a green car.
