Sustainable Sweden's Newsletter Hi [FIRSTNAME], And Welcome to this issue of Sustainable Sweden's eNews. We have several new announcements that we'd like to share with you. To start with we have more details for the upcoming International Eco-municipality Conference in Helsingborg, Sweden. Details for the conference you will find in this pdf-download: Conference Programme[300kB]
In conjunction to this Conference we also have an offer we'd like you to take a closer look at: the next Sustainable Sweden Tour — offering in dept study of Eco-municipalities, and participation on first-ever International Eco-municpality Conference and more. The Tour constitutes of two parts, one northern (17th-21st of May) and one southern (22nd-30th of May) part. Depending on your time and budget you can choose either one or both of them. The southern part also includes the International Eco-Municipality Conference. Participants will have the opportunity to meet their municipal and business counterparts in eco-municipalities across Sweden to learn about: - How they have systematically changed to sustainable practices
- How they have trained staff and local residents
- How eco-municipalities operate
- Models of collaboration between eco-municipalities, local businesses and the community
- Sustainable regional economic development
Combining the first-ever international conference with this extensive Tour — we think this is a quite unique opportunity. And we want to give as many as possible a chance to participate. If you yourself can’t participate we would be grateful if you could help us spreading the word to others.
