Sustainable Pilot Municipalities in Mexico |

Inspired by the Eco-municiapalities, a project with three pilot municipalities is established in Mexico as a part of national efforts concerning sustainable development.
The Chairman of Sustainable Sweden Mr Torbjörn Lahti is involved in sustainable projects in Mexico supported by the World Bank. The biggest state agency - SEDESOL - is evolving a Sustainable Development Plan in the organization with several hundred thousand co-workers. As a part of SEDESOL's ongoing work regarding sustainable development the agency is promoting the establishment of three pilot municipalities for sustainable development.
