Mr. Torbjörn Lahti is a social planner and economist and chairman of Sustainable Sweden Association. He initiated the Ecomunicipality movement in Sweden in the 1980s and co-founded Esam AB. Later he has been working with several United-States municipalities, from which the Institute for Eco-Municipality Education and Assistance (IEMEA) was founded, together with Sarah James, who is also the co-author of their book "The Natural Step for Communities ". Recently he was the project leader of “Sustainable Robertsfors” where a concept called "Eco-municipality 5.0" was worked out. From these three decades of experience of working with sustainable development – unique even in Sweden, Mr. Lahti recently published a new book, "How to Change Worlds ".
